Handle and Extraction Bolt

The extraction bolt can be attached to the top or bottom of the handle. It is used with all chisels.

Universal Chisels

Gomina chisels are designed to fit most common hip and knee stems. They are single-use instruments supplied in sterile packaging.

Usable length: The handle features a quick clamping mechanism. There are three chisel fixation positions. Each position extends the working length by 15mm. This means working length can be extended by 30 mm from position 1 to position 3.

The jig-guided system set fits the same handle and extraction bolt as the Universal Set. The information on the usable lengths is applicable.

Jig

The jig-guided chisels are matched to the guide slots and grooves of the corresponding jigs. The chisels are guided through both guide slots (or grooves) until the cutting edge makes contact with the bone. Then the chisels can be driven in with light hammer strikes. The jig is positioned on the cone of the stem and attached with the fixation screw.

There are four Stem Size groups, each has a jig configuration to suit.
